This pepper is a very hot cayenne type. The many various varieties of cayenne peppers are all long, slim, and slightly curved, and some can grow as long as 12 in. This variety has plants that bear 5 in. to 6 in. long, curved wrinkled, fiery-hot fruit that starts waxy-green and matures to crimson. Also known as 'Long Red Cayenne' 'Red Cayenne' and 'Cayenne Long Thin' and 'Cayenne Long Slim'.
