Sweet Marjoram produces a plant with aromatic, somewhat pungent, flavor from the leaves. Marjoram is very popular with lamb and pork, as well as eggs and cheeses or great for adding flavor to soups. This low-growing plant makes a wonderful Summer ground cover or edging. Marjoram has thin, gray-green leaves and in early Summer small knot-like flowers along the stem ranging in color from lilac to white.
